Description
Introducing the Ellie Velvet Armchair a testament to craftsmanship, meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans in the UK.
Our Stylist Says
I love this armchair for its sleek, modern silhouette and rich brushed velvet finish-perfect for adding a touch of luxe to a variety of interiors. The ebony shade makes it highly versatile, working well in sophisticated monochrome schemes or as a statement piece in neutrally styled spaces. It’s practical too, with plush upholstery that invites you to relax, and its sturdy frame offers durability. Style tips would include pairing it with textured cushions or metallic accents for a contemporary look, or placing it alongside softer textiles and warm lighting for a cosy, inviting corner. It’s equally suited to living rooms, bedrooms, or even a stylish home office setup.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
