These porcelain sculptural vases resemble a pair of legs. Designer Alessandro Zambelli isolates this part of the body to create a rounded form and independent life to the piece. This body fragment, shown as a completed sculpture, boasts an extraordinary expressive force. The fragment takes on a life of its own, detached from its body. Evoking a human body by fragmentation also, and above all, means evoking its missing part. These separated body parts stimulate the imagination and invite us to recompose the world that the fragment comes from, to reform the complete body.
