Our Stylist Says
This grey velvet sofa offers a contemporary yet versatile look, making it a great anchor piece in both modern and traditional interiors. I love how the plush velvet adds a touch of luxury without feeling overly formal, making it ideal for cosy family rooms or stylish lounges. Styling tips include pairing it with neutral or muted tones to keep the look sophisticated, or adding colourful cushions for a pop of personality. Its substantial build and full back design provide comfort and support, while the grey hue ensures it works seamlessly with a variety of colour palettes and decor styles. Keep the surrounding decor minimal for a sleek look, or layer with textured throws and statement lighting to elevate the overall aesthetic.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
