Simple yet stunning, our Elijah Marble Top Gold Desk With Side Basket is a beautiful addition to your furniture collection. Our Stylist Says

This desk, often called the Elijah marble top with its chic gold finish, works beautifully in contemporary or glamorous interiors where a touch of luxe is desired. I love how the marble top adds a sophisticated feel and the gold accents bring warmth and elegance. It pairs well with neutral colour schemes or bold, jewel-toned rooms. Practical styling tips include keeping accessories minimal to highlight its design, adding a decorative tray for organising essentials, and placing plants nearby to soften the overall look. The side basket offers handy storage, making it perfect for compact spaces like home offices or dressing areas where style meets functionality.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
