Our Stylist Says
I really like this fireplace TV unit for its clean lines and the way the recessed firebox adds instant warmth without the mess of real logs. The gloss-black MDF panels and slim metal accents give it a contemporary edge, making it a strong focal point in modern or industrial-inspired living rooms. Its generous top shelf and side compartments are useful for stashing remotes, gaming consoles and a couple of decorative objects. To style it, keep the top surface uncluttered - a framed print or a minimalist vase on one side and a low-profile speaker or stack of art books on the other will balance the look. Tuck away cables through the integrated ports, then layer in soft textures like a wool rug and a couple of woven baskets nearby to contrast the sleek finish and make the space feel more inviting.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
