Description

With its simple silhouette crafted from pine wood and rattan, this dining chair is a replica of a Shaker design. The Shakers could be considered early advocates of minimalism, applying similar design principles to the 20th-century design school, before the movement itself existed; their furniture was a balance between producing pieces that were sturdy enough to withstand daily use, and doing this with limited amounts of locally sourced wood.

Our Stylist Says

I love this chair because of its relaxed, informal vibe and versatile design. The pastel Cloud Wash finish gives it a soft, approachable look, making it ideal for both contemporary and bohemian interiors. It works well as a standalone statement or in a mixed material scheme, especially paired with wooden or glass dining tables. For styling tips, consider combining with neutral-toned tableware and textured textiles on the seat cushion to add warmth. It’s also a great addition around a breakfast nook or in a casual dining space where comfort and charm are priorities.
