The sumptuous seat is upholstered in griege velvet fabric, mounted onto a dark brass metal frame. I’m a fan of the Scribe chair because its greige velvet and dark-brass frame strike a balance between modern and classic, which makes it surprisingly versatile. It sits just as comfortably in a pared-back Scandi scheme as it does around a rich, dark-wood dining table in a traditional setting.
To style it, pair with a matt marble or walnut table and layer in natural linen napkins or a jute runner to soften the brass shine. You can also mix in one or two leather-upholstered chairs to introduce texture, or cluster a couple at the end of the table for a more formal look.
