I’m a fan of the Lagonda unit for its crisp geometric frame and warm brass finish - it instantly lifts a living room or home office without feeling heavy. It sits comfortably in contemporary, art-deco or modern-glam schemes and plays well against darker walls or velvet upholstery.
Styling-wise, balance out the open shelving by grouping objects in odd numbers and varying heights: a pair of books with a sculptural vase on one shelf, then a small plant alongside a framed print below. Leave some shelves clear to avoid a cluttered look, and introduce contrasting textures - for example, a marble trinket dish against the metal frame - to keep the display feeling fresh.
