I’m a big fan of the Donato bar stool for its smart mix of brushed brass and soft bouclé - it instantly lifts a kitchen island or breakfast bar without feeling too heavy. Its clean lines and warm metallic finish sit well in both contemporary and mid-century settings, especially when paired with marble or dark timber countertops.
For styling, stagger two or three along a run of cabinetry, add a slim under-counter footrest and keep nearby accessories minimal - think a couple of ceramic vases or a single statement light above. To look after it, simply dust the frame and gently brush out the bouclé upholstery.
