Its luminous alabaster shade, reminiscent of a glowing pearl, casts a warm, inviting light throughout your home. Surrounding it, four exquisitely crafted metal rings feature a sophisticated bronze exterior and radiant gold interior, creating a striking contrast. Each ring can be individually rotated, allowing you to customise the look and ambience. Perfect as a dazzling centrepiece, this chandelier combines artistic design and luxurious finishes to elevate any room into a masterpiece.

Our Stylist Says

The Eichholtz chandelier is a striking piece that combines modern elegance with a hint of glamour, making it a versatile choice across various interiors. I love how the pearl-inspired central sphere paired with the gold metal accents adds a luxurious touch without feeling overly ornate. It works particularly well in contemporary or eclectic spaces, where it can serve as a statement piece, but it also suits more traditional interiors when paired with classic furnishings. Practical styling tips include positioning it over dining tables or in a foyer to maximise impact, and pairing with other gold accents or soft lighting to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Its generous size means it demands attention, so keep accompanying decor sleek and understated to let the chandelier shine.

About Barker and Stonehouse

Founded in 1946, Barker and Stonehouse offer a diverse range of stylish and timeless pieces. From contemporary to traditional designs, Barker and Stonehouse brings sophistication and comfort to every room.

A Remarkable Journey

Born from the vision of two young RAF men, Charles Barker and Alex Stonehouse, Barker and Stonehouse emerged as a beacon of hope, infusing post-war Britain with a hint of glamour. Starting from a single store in Stockton on Tees, their entrepreneurial spirit led to rapid expansion, opening multiple stores across the region.

Their fast growth was fueled not only by their flair for business but also by their dedication to innovation. The business transformed over the years, adapting to the changing landscapes of retail, all while preserving its charm and values. By 2021, they marked an impressive 75 years in the industry, a testament to their enduring commitment to quality and customer service.

Sustainability at the Forefront

From the very start, Barker and Stonehouse has held a deep commitment to the environment. This devotion was showcased through initiatives such as the Trees4Trees Project, a reforestation effort in Indonesia.

Ensuring that for every tree used in their products, more than two were replanted, nearly 1.5 million trees have been restored under this initiative.

Their Knaresborough store, one of the greenest retail stores in the UK, further underscores their dedication to sustainable practices. As a cherry on top, by 2021, the company achieved the status of "Carbon Neutral Plus", making them a trailblazer in the furniture industry.

Innovative Spaces and Expanding Horizons

Over the decades, Barker and Stonehouse didn't just expand in number, but in the quality and innovation of their spaces. From opening their iconic store in Battersea, London, which beautifully preserved the characteristics of an old candle factory, to their latest state-of-the-art Gateshead store in 2023, every location tells a story.

They have also ventured into digital realms, ensuring a vast online presence and offering a wide range of products to customers all over the UK. Their partnerships, like the one with Fenwick in 2021, illustrate their adaptability and constant quest to reach new audiences.
