A hand-knotted bedside rug that expresses all the nuances of natural wool, enhanced by a simple, elegant flat border. A timeless, modern take on the authentic Berber Rug. Each rug is handmade in India by artisan weavers, masters of an ancestral skill handed down from generation to generation. Knotted, tufted or hand-woven, our rugs perpetuate traditional weaving techniques that bear witness to a culture dating back thousands of years. Product Details • 100% wool • Craftsmanship: Hand woven • Weight: 2200 to 2300gsm • Pile height: 25 to 28mm. Quality Info • Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. In addition to being resistant to wear and durable over time, the wool carpet is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. • Each piece is handcrafted, according to ancestral know-how. There may therefore be slight variations in colour from one carpet to another.. They contribute to the beauty of each piece and make it unique. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • For maintenance, we advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended.
