Introducing Eden, made from 100 Recycled Polyester, this panel creates the perfect fusion of sustainable style and functional design for your home decor needs.100 recycled polyester has been produced from plastic bottles. By reducing the consumption of raw materials, we are taking a step toward an eco-friendly future. Eco-Friendly Material. The UK currently buys 7.7 billion plastic bottles every year, resulting in substantial amounts of single-use plastic waste. More than 1 million plastic bottles are bought around the world per minute. To combat the vast waste single-use plastic creates, we have created a collection using 100 recycled polyester. The Process. Used plastic bottles are cleaned and shredded into pellets. The pellets are crushed, melted and further spun into yarn. Making our world more sustainable is becoming increasingly more important. Helping to create a market for recycled products stops single-use plastics going to landfills. To combat the vast waste single-use plastic creates, we have created a design using 100 recycled polyesters. Crafted with care and a commitment to eco-friendliness, this panel has been created to help reduce the consumption of raw materials, taking one step further to an eco-friendly future. About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
