Description

With Sherbrooke flat pack furniture, assembly is up to 10 times quicker than the traditional self-assembly method and hardly requires the use of tools as most elements connect with a "click". This is made possible by "Easy Klix", an innovative system based on Threespine ID® technology, which also allows you to disassemble and rebuild the furniture multiple times, so there's no need to worry about damaging your furniture if you want to move it. Putting furniture together has never been so easy and straightforward! Sherbrooke is a great example of how the designs of past decades can still inspire and delight in the present. It stands on tall, tapering legs, reminiscent of some of the most iconic models from the 1950s and 60s. The colour scheme and simple lines also reference popular designs from that era. For those who appreciate convenience whilst surrounding themselves with great design, Sherbrooke is an excellent choice. The Sherbrooke TV unit allows you to create a space for a comfortable cinema at home. It features convenient open shelves and two closed cabinets, along with openings in the rear panel for cable organisation and airflow. It's crafted in warm mauvella oak, evoking the beauty of nature and helping you create a cosy atmosphere. Tall wooden legs add lightness to the piece and make it easy to clean underneath. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this Sherbrooke unit for its simple oak finish, clean lines and raised legs - it feels both mid-century and Scandinavian without dominating the room. It works particularly well in minimalist, Scandi or contemporary living spaces where you want a touch of warmth without clutter. For styling, tuck media boxes and controllers behind the doors, then display a low-profile soundbar or centre-piece on the open shelf. Balance the top surface with a slim framed print or two, a small plant and a neat stack of coffee-table books. Use discreet cable ties at the back to keep leads hidden and consider matching the wood tone with a light rug or woven basket to tie the look together.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
