Description

The Sherbrooke chest of drawers is a very practical and useful piece of furniture, offering ample storage in any area of your home. It is equipped with 3 drawers that are mounted on full-extension slides, ensuring easy and smooth access to the storage space. The chest of drawers stands on tall, wooden legs that add lightness to the unit making it easier to clean underneath the furniture. Assembling furniture has never been so easy and enjoyable! You can assemble the furniture from the Sherbrooke collection up to 10 times faster than models with traditional self-assembly fittings. Moreover, you hardly need any tools because most of the elements connect with a click. This is made possible by Easy. Klix, an innovative system based on Threespine ID® technology, which also allows you to disassemble and rebuild the furniture multiple times - so no need to worry about damaging your furniture if you want to move it. Designed in an oak effect, the Sherbrooke collection is an example of how the design of past decades can still inspire and delight. The furniture stands on tall, tapering legs reminiscent of some of the iconic models from the 1950s and 60s. Also, the colour scheme and simple lines of the furniture reference popular designs from that era. For those who appreciate convenience whilst surrounding themselves with great design, the Sherbrooke collection is an excellent choice. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love this piece for its clean, natural oak finish which integrates seamlessly into both modern and Scandi-inspired interiors. Its compact size and three drawers make it practical for bedrooms, living rooms, or even hallways, offering stylish storage without overwhelming the space. When styling, consider pairing it with minimalist accessories or soft textiles to highlight its understated elegance, or contrast it with bold colours or textured fibres for a contemporary twist. It works especially well in spaces aiming for a warm, natural feel, and its timeless design means it can adapt to evolving decor themes over time. Adding decorative handles or placing a statement lamp or plant atop can also personalise the look and make it a true focal point.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
