Description

With Harllson flat pack furniture, assembly is up to 10 times quicker than the traditional self-assembly method and hardly requires the use of tools as most elements connect with a "click". This is made possible by "Easy Klix", an innovative system based on Threespine ID® technology, which also allows you to disassemble and rebuild the furniture multiple times, so there's no need to worry about damaging your furniture if you want to move it. Putting furniture together has never been so easy and straightforward! Crafted in contemporary style, yet evoking the best of mid-century design, Harllson combines both beauty and functionality and is subtle in form and colour. All pieces have solid wood, tall, slightly angled and tapered legs, making them visually light so they won’t overwhelm the room. Delicate wooden knobs emphasize the collection's style and are perfectly matched to the various colour options. The furniture will be a wonderful foundation for arranging a comfortable living room or bedroom in a Scandinavian, boho, or retro spirit. The Harllson TV unit, in an eye-catching combination of painted and mauvella oak, will successfully fit into your living room. It provides ample storage space for your TV equipment and essential accessories. It is equipped with 1 open compartment and 2 cabinets where you can store larger items. Thanks to the soft-close system, the doors open and close gently and quietly. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of the Harllson unit for its clean lines and warm oak-effect finish paired with that crisp white drop-down door - it’s a subtle nod to mid-century modern without feeling dated. Its low profile and slender timber legs work particularly well in Scandinavian, coastal or minimalist spaces, where the emphasis is on light, uncluttered surfaces. For styling, keep the top simple: a modest potted plant or sculptural vase one side, a stack of low-profile books the other, and a wall-mounted TV above to maintain sightlines. Tuck game consoles or media accessories behind the doors to preserve the streamlined look. In the open cubby, use woven baskets or display a single statement object to balance function with a touch of personality.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
