Description

The Harllson Wardrobe features a well-organised interior consisting of a hanging rail, 2 drawers for lingerie or smaller items and 4 shelves that make it easy to maintain order. The doors gently open and close silently due to the soft-close system. Several important features distinguish the Harllson collection from most pieces of furniture. Firstly, the assembly method stands out. Putting furniture together has never been so easy and straightforward. Assembly is up to 10 times quicker than the traditional self-assembly method, and it hardly requires the use of tools because most elements connect with a click. This is made possible by Easy Klix, an innovative system based on Threespine ID® technology, which also allows you to disassemble and rebuild the furniture multiple times so no need to worry about damaging your furniture if you want to move it. The design is contemporary, yet evoking the best of mid-century design. Designed in an oak effect and subtle in form and colour, the furniture combines beauty and functionality. All models have solid wood, tall, slightly angled and tapered legs. Delicate wooden knobs emphasise the collection's style and are perfectly matched to the various colour options. The furniture will be a wonderful foundation for arranging a comfortable living room or bedroom in a Scandinavian, boho, or retro spirit. Want to see it first? You may want to see and get a feel for the furniture in one of our shops before ordering. We'll be able to tell you where the range you'd like to view is on display.

Our Stylist Says

I love how the Harllson wardrobe’s mix of matt green and oak-effect panels injects warmth and character without overwhelming a space. Its slim profile and tapered legs make it ideal for compact bedrooms, home offices or hallway nooks, especially in Scandi-inspired, mid-century modern or contemporary schemes. For practical styling, top it with a couple of woven storage baskets and a low-maintenance plant to draw the eye up, then reserve the drawers for knitwear or accessories. Pair it with neutral textiles and simple wall hooks or a slim-full length mirror to keep the look neat and functional.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
