From a hand-drawn design by Zoffany collaborator, Sam Wilde, Eastern Palace elegantly represents the Japanese concept of fuubutsushi; a word unique to the Japanese language that means, 'The things - feelings, scents, images - that evoke memories or anticipation for a particular season.' Snaking its way through the design, a mysterious river unites Japan's four main islands, taking in palaces, temples and giant 'kamis' or spirits. Eastern Palace is digitally printed on a luxurious 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sateen, in shades of indigo blue and white, finished with cord piping. Available in double, king and super king sizes with oxford and square oxford pillowcases featuring the main design providing the perfect way to layer your traditional Japanese landscape theme. Please note: all pillowcase singles are available separately. This design is also available in a wallpaper.
