Description

Escape to France and delight your senses with this delectable cheeses print from Stephie Cardona. The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight, making it easier and safer to hang. Ready to hang on your wall, it's made in the UK and framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. Stephie Cardona is a self-taught artist and the creative force behind the brand Kunstby. Stephie. She's a US-born, Berlin-based artist known for her digital illustrations that blend humour, whimsy and playfulness. Inspired by her love of good food, drinks and a touch of nostalgia from her travels, she weaves together delightful visuals that evoke a sense of playfulness and naivety. Stephie's fondness for hand-drawn motifs and typography is also evident in her work, adding a distinctive charm. Her ability to seamlessly embrace ever-changing trends ensures her art remains at the vanguard and brings a fresh perspective to the art scene. hooks and fittings EAST END PRINTS picture frames are usually one of two frame widths: medium frame (2.2cm) and wide frame (3.5cm). Our Stylist Says

I really like the cheese-themed print; it adds a playful yet sophisticated touch to any wall. It works especially well in kitchens, dining rooms, or even a cosy breakfast nook, where its humorous tone can enhance the vibe. The simple line drawings make it quite versatile, pairing nicely with Scandinavian or modern rustic interiors. For styling, consider framing it with a clean, black border as shown, and hang it alongside other minimalist artworks or vintage prints to give it context without cluttering. To create a cohesive look, keep surrounding colours neutral and let the print be a quirky focal point.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
