The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight making it easier and safer to hang. Hali Igwelaezoh is a Nigerian-born, London-based artist and creator who works predominantly through illustration, painting, photography and sculpture. Illustration is her primary medium, with a focus on themes related to culture and femininity. Hali enjoys taking inspiration from several things in life; people, everyday objects, feelings and spirituality to name a few things. Many of her works explore the simplicity and beauty of human form and positioning; movement, expression, themes of softness, still life, and sentimental objects are just a few of the inspirations she draws from. John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
