Description

Whatever your personal taste in sparkling wine, this playful print from Poet and Painter has you covered. The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight, making it easier and safer to hang. Ready to hang on your wall, it's made in the UK and framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. Poet and Painter was founded in 2015. Their approach to design is, much like them, untethered. They aren't interested in any styles that are trending. They leave that to the trendy people. They prefer to tread their own messy path. They write all their own words and they relish the freedom of approaching each card as a separate piece of artwork they can splash around with. They offer all their designs and products plastic-free, they print on FSC-rated boards in the UK with minimal waste, and they consider the environmental credentials of all their suppliers. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings? EAST END PRINTS picture frames are usually one of two frame widths: medium frame (2.2cm) and wide frame (3.5cm). The frame width varies across the range. The medium frame measures 2.2cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 33.4 x 28.4cm 43.4 x 33.4cm 53.4 x 43.4cm 83.4 x 63.4cm The wide frame measures 3.5cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 36 x 31cm 46 x 36cm 56 x 46cm 86 x 66cm

Our Stylist Says

I love this print for its playful take on wine bottles, which makes it a great choice for casual, fun spaces like a kitchen or dining area. Its light-hearted vibe and soft colour palette can add a touch of personality without feeling overpowering. It works well in contemporary or eclectic interiors, especially when paired with natural wood or neutral tones to keep the look balanced. Practical styling tips include grouping it with other small artworks or placing it above a sideboard or bar cart to create a focal point. Keep framing simple - the wooden border complements many interior styles and helps the print blend seamlessly into its surroundings.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
