EAST END PRINTS have collaborated with the Natural History Museum to create a beautiful collection of illustrative collages and prints from the museum's archives. Made in the UK, this vintage illustrated print depicts buzzing bumblebees and purple hyacinth flowers. The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight making it easier and safer to hang. Ready to hang on your wall, it's framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings?
I love this print because it combines a scientific, vintage feel with a modern simplicity that can really elevate various interiors. It works particularly well in eclectic, botanical, or study spaces, adding a touch of natural history charm. Practical styling tips include pairing it with other nature-inspired artwork or placing it within a gallery wall for visual interest. To really make it pop, consider mounting it against a neutral wall or within a minimalist setting to let the detailed illustration take centre stage. Its framed finish also lends itself well to both traditional and contemporary interiors, making it a versatile addition that adds both colour and character.
