Description

Woodland and country garden animals fill the frame with this print by Kid of the Village. This fine art-quality print on 210gsm acid-free archival paper is framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. The acrylic glaze is light in weight and optically the same as glass. Made in the UK, it's ready to hang on your wall. Kid of the Village was founded in 2017 by British illustrator Hayley Cunningham. After the birth of her two children, Hayley created a series of prints for her children’s nursery which inspired her to create more artwork using a mix of hand illustrations and graphic design. Kid of the Village prints are playfully bold and modern and designed to bring a smile to children’s faces. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings?

Our Stylist Says

I love this woodland animals print for its charming, playful vibe-it's perfect for adding a touch of nature to a child's room or nursery. Its clean, minimal frame makes it versatile, working well in contemporary, scandi, or even rustic interiors. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with soft pastel or neutral tones to keep the focus on the artwork, or mix with other nature-inspired accessories like wooden toys or cosy textiles for a warm, inviting feel. For a cohesive look, hang it at eye level in a dedicated gallery wall or as a standalone statement piece above the cot or dresser. Its friendly illustrations make it a great focal point without overwhelming the space.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
