Description

This stunning abstract landscape from Jörgen Hansson is perfect for adding the calmness of the outdoors to your wall space. The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight, making it easier and safer to hang. Ready to hang on your wall, it's made in the UK and framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. Jörgen Hansson is a Swedish artist and stone mason living in Bohuslan on the west coast of Sweden. He uses materials such as ink, stone, charcoal, wood, watercolour and acrylic and often finds his inspiration from nature and people. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings? EAST END PRINTS picture frames are usually one of two frame widths: medium frame (2.2cm) and wide frame (3.5cm). The frame width varies across the range. The medium frame measures 2.2cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 33.4 x 28.4cm 43.4 x 33.4cm 53.4 x 43.4cm 83.4 x 63.4cm The wide frame measures 3.5cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 36 x 31cm 46 x 36cm 56 x 46cm 86 x 66cm

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Slope II print for its understated, calming colour palette and simple, abstract landscape. It works particularly well in minimalist or contemporary interiors, where it can add a gentle visual interest without overpowering the space. I’d suggest pairing it with neutral tones or soft textiles to create a cohesive look. For practical styling, hang it at eye level above a sofa, console table, or bed, and consider layering with smaller prints or objects to add depth. Its moderate size makes it adaptable for various room sizes, making it a versatile piece that can easily become a focal point when styled thoughtfully.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
