A dramatic line drawing print, 'Knot I' from In House aka Marcus Walters. This fine art-quality print on 210gsm acid-free archival paper is framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. The acrylic glaze is light in weight and optically the same as glass. Made in the UK, it's ready to hang on your wall. In House aka Marcus Walters is a graphic artist and designer of many disciplines. Since graduating from Central Saint Martins School of Art in London he has art directed magazines, founded a graphic design agency, launched his own fashion and homewares brands, exhibited artwork at galleries across the world and collaborated with some of the biggest brands in the world. Marcus's work is easily identifiable by his reductive graphic style and colourful optimistic imagery. Typography, drawing and illustration intertwine to create joyful images while his pattern designs are feature multi-layered abstract compositions - a nod to his training as a graphic designer. I really like this East End Print in-house piece; its minimalist, abstract design makes it versatile for various spaces. It works particularly well in modern or contemporary interiors, adding a touch of visual interest without overwhelming the room. For styling, consider pairing it with neutral or monochrome colour schemes to let the artwork stand out, or hang it alongside other monochromatic pieces for a curated, gallery-like effect. Practical tips include placing it at eye level in a living room or hallway, and pairing it with simple frames or gallery walls for a cohesive look. Its understated yet striking style makes it a great focal point in both minimalist and eclectic settings.
