Price History
Description
A monochrome typographic framed print, 'Stay in bed' by Honeymoon Hotel, inspired by the John Lennon and Yoko Ono 'Bed-ins for Peace' in 1969. The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight making it easier and safer to hang. Ready to hang on your wall, it's framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. Honeymoon Hotel is a creative hub, perfectly fusing their passion for design with their love for the written word and everything beautiful in between. Their chic and contemporary range is always thoughtful, considered and reflects the very latest in colour, design and graphic trends. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings? EAST END PRINTS picture frames are usually one of two frame widths: medium frame (2.2cm) and wide frame (3.5cm). The frame width varies across the range. The medium frame measures 2.2cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 33.4 x 28.4cm 43.4 x 33.4cm 53.4 x 43.4cm 83.4 x 63.4cm The wide frame measures 3.5cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 36 x 31cm 46 x 36cm 56 x 46cm 86 x 66cm
Our Stylist Says
I love this print for its simple yet playful message-perfect for adding a cosy, relaxed vibe to a bedroom or even a boutique hotel room. Its minimalist design and natural frame make it versatile, working well in contemporary, Scandinavian, or even eclectic interiors. For styling, consider pairing it with soft textiles or layered neutral tones to enhance its calming feel. It’s also a great piece for creating a focal point above a bed or bedside table, and its straightforward message can add a touch of humour to more minimalist schemes. Just ensure it’s hung at eye level for maximum impact!

About John Lewis
A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion
John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.
Adapting to Changing Times
Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.
Commitment to a Greater Purpose
John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
