A vibrant print of a tree filled with birds and song, 'The Singing Tree' by Fiona Watson. This fine art-quality print on 210gsm acid-free archival paper is framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. The acrylic glaze is light in weight and optically the same as glass. Ready to hang on your wall, it's made in the UK in an exclusive size for John Lewis & Partners. The patterns, rhythms, forms and colours of nature in a microscopic and macroscopic sense have always fascinated Fiona Watson. This initially led her to study Biological Sciences at Leicester University. After several years of working for various medical journals, she eventually studied printmaking at the Glasgow Print Studio. Etching copper and steel plates with acid turned out to be the perfect blend of science and art. As a complete contrast and foil to messy printmaking, she also works extensively in digital printmaking. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings? EAST END PRINTS picture frames are usually one of two frame widths: medium frame (2.2cm) and wide frame (3.5cm). The frame width varies across the range. The medium frame measures 2.2cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 33.4 x 28.4cm 43.4 x 33.4cm 53.4 x 43.4cm 83.4 x 63.4cm The wide frame measures 3.5cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 36 x 31cm 46 x 36cm 56 x 46cm 86 x 66cm
I love the Fiona Watson 'Singing Tree' print for its playful yet calming aesthetic, making it a versatile piece for various interiors. It works particularly well in children's rooms or nurseries thanks to its joyful, colourful nature, but it can also add a touch of whimsy to a living room or hallway with a nature-inspired or eclectic style. When styling, consider pairing it with neutral or pastel backgrounds to let the artwork stand out, or mix with other botanical or animated prints for a curated gallery wall. The light wooden frame adds warmth and makes it easy to integrate into both modern and traditional settings. For practical styling, hang it at eye level and keep surrounding accessories minimal to let the feature shine.
