Description
A joyful and colourful framed print for a kid's nursery or bedroom, this London bus full of fun-loving animals is by Dicky Bird studio. The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight making it easier and safer to hang. Ready to hang on your wall, it's framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. Dicky Bird is a small studio based in London. Coming from a design background, the studio aims to bring something more simple and graphic to your walls, inspired by a love of clean shapes, beautiful colours, graphic patterns, mid-century design and all things Scandinavian. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings?
Our Stylist Says
The Dicky Bird 'London Bus' print is a vibrant and playful piece, perfect for adding a pop of colour and whimsy to a child's bedroom or a casual living space. Its bold, simplified design makes it ideal for contemporary or Scandinavian interiors, and it works especially well if paired with neutral backgrounds that allow the artwork to stand out. For styling tips, consider placing it above a simple bedside table or dresser, and complementing it with other colourful accessories or wooden accents to create a lively yet cohesive look. Its cheerful charm also makes it a great gift for young explorers or those who appreciate fun, graphic art.

About John Lewis
A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion
John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.
Adapting to Changing Times
Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.
Commitment to a Greater Purpose
John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
