Description

A painterly textured neutral print by Berit Mogenson Lopez. The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight making it easier and safer to hang. Ready to hang on your wall, it's framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. Copenhagen-based designer/artist Berit Mogensen Lopez graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts with a degree in fashion and textile design. Besides working on her own print collection, paintings and collages, Berit collaborates with interior designers and architects on specific projects for hotels and private apartment interior design, creating textile designs, prints and unique artworks. Our Stylist Says

I love this print for its modern, minimalist vibe; it’s a versatile piece that works well in a variety of interiors, from contemporary to Scandinavian-inspired spaces. The soft neutral tones make it easy to style alongside other artwork or as part of a gallery wall, especially if you’re aiming for a calming, understated look. Practical styling tips include pairing it with light wood or neutral furniture to enhance its subtle palette, or placing it in a space where it can be a focal point without overpowering the room. It’s a great choice for adding visual interest while maintaining a clean and contemporary aesthetic.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
