A playful design by artist Anek celebrating affogato, the rich and scrumptious Italian dessert. This fine art-quality print on 210gsm acid-free archival paper is framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. The acrylic glaze is light in weight and optically the same as glass. Ready to hang on your wall, it's made in the UK in an exclusive size for John Lewis & Partners. Ana Zaja Petrak (aka Anek) is a graphic designer and illustrator, working and living in Zagreb, Croatia. She worked for many years in the graphic design industry. A few years ago she returned to illustration which has always been her first love. Her style is graphic, simple and colourful. She uses colour fearlessly and approaches her subjects in a uniquely playful manner. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings? EAST END PRINTS picture frames are usually one of two frame widths: medium frame (2.2cm) and wide frame (3.5cm). The frame width varies across the range. The medium frame measures 2.2cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 33.4 x 28.4cm 43.4 x 33.4cm 53.4 x 43.4cm 83.4 x 63.4cm The wide frame measures 3.5cm across and comes in the following four sizes: 36 x 31cm 46 x 36cm 56 x 46cm 86 x 66cm
I love the Anek 'Affogato' print for its modern, minimalist vibe and the way it captures a classic treat with a contemporary twist. It works particularly well in relaxed, modern interiors-think Scandinavian-inspired spaces or cosy kitchen corners. To style it effectively, consider pairing it with other monochrome or neutral art pieces to create a cohesive gallery wall, or let it stand alone above a sideboard or reading nook for a focal point. Practical tip: since it has a sleek blackboard background, complement it with light-toned or natural wood furniture to keep the overall look fresh and balanced.
