Description
Add a Mid-century touch with this geometric print by Ana Rut Bre. Ideal for adding a designer touch to your living room. The giclée art printing process and 210gsm acid-free archival paper create an exhibition-quality art print with long-lasting colours that more closely resemble the artist's materials and tones. A digital form of the original work is stored and then printed using a commercial printer and pigment-based inks. The print is presented with an acrylic glaze that's optically the same as glass yet lighter in weight making it easier and safer to hang. Ready to hang on your wall, it's framed in obeche wood in a choice of finishes. Ana Rut Bre is a professional graphic designer living in Germany. She works in her own studio as a designer and artist. For her artwork, she uses analogue, painterly and digital media. She loves travelling, inspiring landscapes and nature, from which she develops her visual ideas. She mostly plays with abstract shapes, which she endows with rich colours and painterly structures. Have you thought about wall hooks and fittings?
Our Stylist Says
I love this print because of its bold geometric shapes and striking colour palette, which makes it a versatile statement piece. It works particularly well in modern or minimalist interiors, adding visual interest without overpowering the space. For styling, consider pairing it with simple furnishings in neutrals or matching tones to allow the artwork to stand out. It’s especially effective in living rooms or bedrooms where a focal point is needed, and can be complemented with other abstract accents or monochrome accessories for a cohesive look. Framing in black enhances its contemporary feel and ensures it fits seamlessly into various colour schemes.

About John Lewis
A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion
John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.
Adapting to Changing Times
Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.
Commitment to a Greater Purpose
John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
