Description

My Ocean, Home, and My Universe are the names of the three different globes created by Swedish artist Bertil Vallien, each with its own characteristic houses and message. The names tells a bit about the history of each globe and Vallien’s ideas behind the series. Each globe is hand-made with great care, and makes a perfect, very personal gift.

Our Stylist Says

I love this little Earth sculpture as a conversation piece; its abstract design and vibrant colour palette make it a standout addition to any room. It works particularly well in modern and contemporary interiors, where its bold form can complement minimalist colour schemes. For styling tips, try placing it on a neutral console table or open shelving to let it pop, paired with other natural or textured elements for a balanced look. Due to its compact size, it’s perfect for adding interest on a sideboard, bookshelf, or coffee table without overwhelming the space. Keep surrounding accessories simple to allow this piece to truly shine.

Commitment to Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability

Nordic Nest isn't just about aesthetics; it's also about ethics. The company stands firm on its corporate social responsibility, emphasising employee well-being, promoting diversity and gender equality, and ensuring that business practices are transparent and ethical.

They're also making strides in environmental efforts, always seeking to reduce their carbon footprint. This focus on sustainability and corporate responsibility isn't just for today, but with an eye on the future, ensuring that both their designs and their business practices stand the test of time.

Bridging Cultures Through Translation

In today's interconnected world, language shouldn't stand in the way. To ensure their customers around the world can easily browse and shop, Nordic Nest partnered with Contentor, a company specialising in translations, to offer their website in multiple languages.

Their online shop, now available in ten languages, shows their commitment to localised content, ensuring that every visitor feels a personal connection.

Working with Contentor, Nordic Nest has focused on more than just translating words. They've worked together to create a full, enjoyable shopping experience for customers everywhere.
