Offering superb comfort, the EA 118 Swivel Office Chair is the ultimate seating for any modern workspace, designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1958.Part of the iconic Eames Aluminium Group, this EA 118 Swivel Office Chair is one of the task chairs that makes up this range, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames for an art collector's private residence. A departure from their signature seat-shell style, these designs were leather and fabric stretched between an aluminium frame to create comfortable seating without elaborate upholstery. Upholstered in an array of colours, the EA 118 chair is covered with Vitra Hopsak fabric: a highly durable flat plain-weave polyamide fabric in duotone colours to add another dimension to its aesthetic. Characterised by a curved backrest for added comfort, the Eames EA 118 swivels for simple manoeuvring and has a specifically designed tilt mechanism that can be adjusted to the weight of the user for optimum comfort. With a narrower seat and adjusted sitting position, the EA 118 is the perfect chair for table-oriented activities.
