Description

A mid-century inspired chair, crafted from cerused oak wood and upholstered in rich navy sumptuous velvet whilst the cushions are filled with cosy feathers and fibre. Featuring an exposed frame, sleek arms and button detailing, our Dylan armchair will make a stylish addition to your interior.

Our Stylist Says

The Dylan navy velvet armchair offers a rich colour and luxurious texture that work well in both classic and contemporary interiors. I love how its deep hue can anchor a room, making it a versatile statement piece. It pairs nicely with neutral palettes for contrast, or can complement other jewel tones for a layered, sophisticated look. For styling tips, consider positioning it near a warm wooden coffee table or accented with patterned cushions to add visual interest. Its plush velvet finish invites comfort, making it ideal for cosy reading corners or as an inviting seat in a lounge area. Remember, incorporating natural textures like wood or woven textiles nearby will enhance its timeless appeal.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
