Born in Hampshire in 1964, Duncan Palmar had a love of painting and drawing from a young age, stating, "At school, I would try and find any excuse to go to the art room." John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
