With a moisture content below 20%, they come securely packaged in a dump bag on a pallet. These 100% natural logs may contain a mix of species with varying log thicknesses. They offer a long, hot burn and produce minimal smoke due to the kiln drying process. Sourced from UK-harvested wood, our Softwood supports FSC sustainable forestry initiatives. In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
