Description
The Sanctuary Hybrid Pocket Gel Mattress delivers a cooler, more personalised sleep experience designed to keep you comfortable night after night. It sits at the top of the Aurora range, combining the highest spring count on offer with a cooling gel layer for sleepers who want precise support and temperature control in one mattress. Product Overview• Range: Aurora• Comfort Level:Medium• Construction: Hybrid – cooling gel layer over 1,000 individually wrapped pocket springs• Height: Standard profile• Sleep Positions: Back, side, combination• Max Weight: 120kg per sleeper• Delivery:Vacuum rolled and boxed• Fire Compliance: UK BS7177 Medium Hazard. At its foundation, 1,000 individually wrapped steel pocket springs work independently to provide precise, responsive support while helping to minimise motion transfer – ideal for sharing a bed without disturbance. What sets this mattress apart is the advanced gel layer, which contours to the shape of the body for effective pressure relief while also working as a temperature regulator, helping to disperse heat and maintain a cooler, more refreshing sleep surface. Combining the higher 1,000-spring count with a dedicated gel comfort layer gives this mattress the strongest all-round performance in the Aurora range: motion isolation benefits from both the individually pocketed coils and the cushioning gel layer above them, pressure relief moves up to a medium-to-high level thanks to the gel's body-contouring properties, and temperature regulation is actively supported rather than left to the spring structure alone. The result is a mattress that behaves closer to a premium hybrid than a traditional pocket sprung model, while still keeping a controlled, medium-firm bounce rather than the slower response of a full memory foam layer. Rolled and boxed for simple delivery and effortless setup, the mattress supports a maximum user weight of 120kg. Allow 24–48 hours after unpacking for it to fully expand, and rotate it head-to-toe every three months to keep the spring and gel layers wearing evenly over its lifetime.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
