Description
The Luxe Pocket Sprung Mattress is built for those who value personalised comfort and uninterrupted rest. At its heart is an 800-count pocket sprung unit, with each steel spring individually encased in polyester so it can respond independently to movement – ideal if you share a bed with a restless sleeper. Product Overview• Range: Essentials• Comfort Level:Soft to medium• Construction: 800 individually encased pocket springs• Height: Standard profile• Sleep Positions: Back, side, combination• Max Weight: 120kg per sleeper• Delivery:Vacuum rolled and boxed• Fire Compliance: UK BS7177 Medium Hazard. This advanced spring design allows each coil to move on its own, helping to reduce motion transfer so you can sleep soundly even if your partner turns or shifts during the night. A gentle soft-to-medium firmness provides well-balanced support that adapts to the body, offering both pressure relief and stability, while a layer of polyester adds breathable comfort and spring insulation beneath the quilted panel top. Because the mattress relies on individually pocketed springs rather than a single interconnected coil unit, each area of the mattress can compress independently to follow the natural curves of the body. This is what gives it its characteristic combination of a soft, plush top feel with genuinely supportive underlying structure – heavier areas of the body like the hips and shoulders sink slightly further than lighter areas like the calves and lower back, keeping the spine in a more neutral position through the night. The trade-off compared to an all-foam mattress is a touch more surface bounce, which some sleepers prefer for ease of movement and changing position, while still delivering meaningfully better motion isolation than a traditional open coil mattress. Rolled and boxed for convenience, the mattress fits easily into any home and is straightforward to manoeuvre up staircases or through narrow doorways during setup. It supports a maximum user weight of 120kg, and as with all rolled mattresses, it's worth allowing 24–48 hours after unpacking for the springs and comfort layers to fully expand before judging the final feel.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
