Our Stylist Says
I really like this extendable table for its practical versatility and modern appeal. The light oak finish adds warmth and works well in both contemporary and rustic interiors, making it a great centrepiece for a variety of dining spaces. Its folding extensions are perfect for hosting guests without sacrificing everyday design, allowing for effortless adjustments as needed. To style this table, consider pairing it with minimalist chairs or eclectic mix-and-match options for an casual look, or dress it up with a runner and statement lighting for a more polished feel. It’s particularly effective in open-plan kitchens or dining rooms where flexibility and ease of use are priorities. Keep accessories simple to let the natural wood and sleek metal legs shine, and you’ll have a functional yet stylish dining area.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
