Designed in 1958 by Arne Jacobsen, the statement Drop Chair is crafted to meticulous standards by international design brand Fritz Hansen and is fully upholstered in Kvadrat's Canvas upholstery in a selection of hues. Originally designed for the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, the Drop Chair epitomises refined design, with an individual silhouette and enduring craftsmanship. In 2014, the Drop Chair was re-launched by Denmark-based Fritz Hansen, producing Arne Jacobsen's personal favourite to exacting standards using the finest raw materials and skilled craftspeople. Fully upholstered in Kvadrat's Canvas fabric, the Drop Chair is awarded with a welcoming and durable surface, woven with a blend of 90% new wool and 10% nylon yarns and contrasted with a chrome-plated base for a distinctly modern finish.
