Description

The Drey Table Light is a wonderful addition to your home’s interior lighting arrangements. Finished in Polished Chrome, the table lamp features 3 straight legs angling and overlapping one another to create a unique, abstract feature. Atop the three legs sits a clean, white shade from which the warm light diffuses through the fabric to create a much softer glow that provides a relaxing atmosphere in your spaces while opening the space up.

Our Stylist Says

I love this lamp because of its sleek, contemporary design with that striking chrome finish, which instantly elevates any space. It works particularly well in modern or minimalist interiors, adding a touch of sophistication without overwhelming the decor. Practical styling tips include placing it on a side table beside a neutral sofa or in a bedside setting to create a crisp, polished look. Its reflective surface also makes it a versatile piece - pairing well with colour schemes that range from monochrome to bold hues. Keep styling simple, letting the chrome and clean lines do the talking for that effortlessly chic vibe.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
