I’m a fan of this beige upholstered LED bed with storage pockets because it combines style with everyday practicality. The built-in LED strip in the headboard provides soft reading light without the need for extra lamps, while the four under-bed drawers and side pockets keep bedside essentials - phones, books, remotes - neatly out of sight. Its neutral linen-look fabric works well in contemporary, Scandi or transitional bedrooms and pairs easily with both matte black and brass accents. To style it, layer muted-coloured cushions and a chunky knit throw at the foot of the bed for texture. Position slimline floating shelves or simple wall hooks above the headboard to balance the light source and add display space. Finally, place a low-pile rug under the base and introduce a single potted plant for a touch of greenery without clutter.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
