Price History

Description

The Dot wall light is a contemporary combination of metal and glass that gives effective accent light to your home. The fitting features a frosted glass globe sat in a rounded metal structure, with the glass diffusing the light for a softer glow. A modern image is created by the simplicity of the design, which is perfect for helping to give a sophisticated update to the look of any décor.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light for its sleek, minimalist design and versatile black finish, which makes it a great addition to both contemporary and industrial interiors. Its compact size and globe shape provide a subtle but impactful statement, perfect for creating ambient lighting in living rooms, hallways, or bedrooms. Stylists often suggest pairing it with neutral walls to let the light organiser stand out, or mixing it with metallic accents for a modern look. For practical styling tips, try installing a few along a corridor or over a console table for balanced lighting. It’s simple yet effective - a smart choice for adding both function and style to your space.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
