Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1947, the ‘Dot Pattern’ blanket renders down the Eames’ ethos into a throw, crafted from merino lambswool in a jacquard weave. The designers set out to maintain and implement their ideas about colour, shape and material into the design of the blanket, which was created in conjunction with an exhibition at New York’s Museum of Modern Art. The dot print featured on the blanket is a large-scale graphic that references the abstract paintings that Ray Eames created throughout the 1930s. The Eames Dot Pattern Wool Blanket would make a timeless addition to your living scheme.
