Our Stylist Says
The black divinity Emma sofa bed is a versatile piece that works well in both modern and minimalist interiors, thanks to its sleek, understated look. I love its practical dual function, making it ideal for compact spaces or guest rooms where style and utility are key. To style around it, consider pairing with light-coloured bedding or throws to add contrast, or introduce textured cushions for a cosy feel. It’s also worth keeping the surrounding decor simple to let the sofa bed be a subtle statement piece, while a light wooden or neutral-toned rug underneath helps soften the look and create a more inviting space. Perfect for occasional use, it combines clean aesthetics with everyday practicality.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
