Our Stylist Says
The divan bed base in tweed fabric is a versatile choice that lends itself well to both contemporary and classic interiors. Its solid platform top offers a clean, streamlined look, making it perfect for minimalist schemes, while the grey tone adds a touch of sophistication that can anchor more eclectic or cosy bedroom styles. I love its practicality - the option for draw units provides additional storage without compromising on sleekness, and the simple single size is ideal for smaller rooms or those seeking a tidy, uncluttered aesthetic. Styling tips include adding textured bed linens or layered throws for a cosy feel, and pairing with neutral or pastel accessories to keep the look fresh and inviting. This base works especially well when paired with stylish headboards and bedside tables to complete a polished and functional bedroom space.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
