Description

The Tweed Fabric Divan Bed Base combines durability, practicality, and modern style. Expertly handcrafted in the UK from strong timber, this solid platform top divan base provides the perfect foundation for your mattress, enhancing comfort and extending its life. Upholstered in luxurious Tweed Fabric, it brings a textured, elegant finish to your bedroom. Choose from no drawers, 2 drawers, or 4 drawers for a versatile storage solution that keeps your space organised. Designed for lasting strength, the base sits at a practical height with gliders for easy movement and stability. 30.5cm without the glides, or 34.5cm with the glides attached. This 2 Draw Bed Base comes with easy access storage drawers. Headboards can be attached on either end of the base.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the divan bed base with tweed fabric because it offers a classic, textured look that works well in both contemporary and traditional interiors. The solid platform top provides a sleek, streamlined appearance, while the two drawers add practical storage, making it ideal for smaller rooms or those looking to keep clutter out of sight. The coffee colour tone is versatile, pairing nicely with neutral or warmer colour schemes. When styling, I recommend pairing it with simple, understated bedding to let the texture and fabric of the base stand out. Adding cosy throws and cushions can soften the look and create an inviting atmosphere. This base is perfect for those seeking a blend of style, practicality, and durability.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
