Our Stylist Says
I love this bed base for its contemporary, plush velvet finish-perfect for adding a touch of softness and elegance to a room. The pink shade makes it a versatile option for feminine or eclectic interiors, and the small single size is ideal for smaller bedrooms or cosy spaces. Its platform top provides a sleek, tidy look, while the built-in drawers offer practical storage without cluttering the room. Styling tips would include pairing it with crisp, neutral bedding and adding metallic or glass accents for a modern vibe. It works particularly well in minimalist, Scandinavian, or even luxe boho interiors where the plush velvet can be a statement piece. Keep the surroundings light and airy to really highlight the rich texture and colour of the bed.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
