Description
True beauty needs imperfection. Crafted from stoneware with a matt glaze, the Dito candle holder features an incredible bumpy surface. Originally carved by hand, its shape comes from the process of pressing fingers in clay. It was this method of sculpture that sparked the idea for its name - Dito, which means finger in Italian. With its small handle, it can easily be moved around. The organic lines, deliberately irregular, communicate the notion of hand-crafted pieces and highlight the raw and authentic aesthetic of this creation. Passionate about interior decoration, Trine Andersen (founder and designer of Denmark’s Ferm Living brand) creates products for modern lives with a Scandinavian touch, in a style fusing together design, quality and nature.
