Description

A wall light to add drama to any room, with a slender black frame and shade topped with a distressed gold and copper finish.

Our Stylist Says

I love this wall light for its rustic, industrial feel that adds character to any space. It works particularly well in vintage-inspired, farmhouse, or eclectic interiors where a touch of worn-in charm is desired. To style it effectively, consider placing it alongside raw materials like wood and brick, which will complement its distressed look. For practical tips, position it at eye level in hallways or above bedside tables to create ambient lighting, and pair with dimmable bulbs for maximum versatility. Its unique distressed finish means it’s best kept as a statement piece, so avoid over-accessorising nearby with overly modern or shiny items to let its rustic appeal shine.

About Graham & Green

Founded in 1974, Graham & Green are a family business that started in Notting Hill, and have many pieces that bring touch of individuality and character to any space.

The Inception of a Lifestyle Brand

In 1974, Antonia started Graham & Green after a trip to India. She wanted to be independent and worked with traders from different countries. This led her to create the UK's first 'lifestyle' brand, bringing unique home items from places like India, Morocco, and Europe.

The first Graham & Green store opened in Notting Hill in 1974, showcasing Antonia's special collection of items from around the world. You can still visit this original store on Elgin Crescent today.

Evolution through Generations

Graham & Green has a rich history full of important moments. In 1980, they started creating hand-drawn mail-order catalogues to share their store's charm with more people.

They opened a new store in Primrose Hill in 1994, reflecting the brand's playful and free nature.

Antonia's son, Jamie, took a creative lead in 1998. Having studied at Kingston University, he began designing unique furniture collections, shifting Graham & Green from not only importing items but also creating them.

Then, in 1999, Graham & Green launched their first website, allowing people all across the UK to shop their collections online.

Milestones and Memories

Over time, Graham & Green has marked its journey with special products, like unique Birthday items with lovebird designs. After Antonia led the brand for 37 years, Jamie and Lou took over, pushing Graham & Green to grow even more.

They opened big stores in Bayswater and Bath in 2016. By 2018, Graham & Green updated their website to keep it modern and stylish for their customers.
