Possessing a rare elegance, this limited edition table lamp was created by French architect and interior designer Jacques Adnet (1901-1981) in the 30s. Deeply rooted in the Art Deco movement that began in Paris in the 1920s, Jacques Adnet is known for his avant-garde design. The perfect modernist geometry of the Diane lamp combines harmoniously with the refinement of the materials, evoking images of a glowing sunrise slowly mounting on the horizon. The Diane table lamp consists of an adjustable hemispherical lampshade and rectangular base in white Carrara marble or black Marquina marble. The Diane table lamp is available in a Palladium or fine gold finish. This light is part of the LC collection by Lumen Center: reissues of iconic lamps from the 1920s to the 1980s, created by famous personalities of international design. Lumen Center: Made in Italy excellence... Quality of materials, attention to detail and craftsmanship are the hallmarks of the company's know-how. In the wake of a long tradition of craftsmanship, LUMEN CENTER continues to experiment with new solutions and cutting-edge technologies, bringing creations to life. The quintessence of design marries admirably with perfect functionality.
This lamp offers a striking yet sophisticated touch, making it ideal for both modern and eclectic interiors. Its gold-tone metal frame combined with a sleek, minimal form brings a sense of luxe restraint that works well as an accent piece on side tables, console units, or within a glass display in a study or living room. I love pairing it with neutral palettes to let the metallic shine stand out, but it also complements richer textures like velvet or marble. To style it effectively, keep surrounding accessories simple - perhaps a few curated books or delicate sculptures - so this statement lamp remains the focal point. Its vintage-inspired design also makes it a great choice for adding personality to contemporary schemes or for creating a subtle nod to classic 20th-century design.
